You will be able to by underfloor heating which works in three different ways to heat your home:
1) The Electrical Underfloor Heating that is placed under the flooring of your home. This type of underfloor heating systems element is built in a similar way as that of a kettle wherein an electrical current runs along a conductive cable which is laid under the flooring, this would then heas up and the heat would evenly pass out around the room.
This process of electrical heating is often made up of a continuous wire heating cable which is being laid out under the main floor boards on to the sub flooring and the sub flooring is the insulation board which is laid under the main floor surface. This electrical heating wire cable is often laid around the room in in any random patten which would be covering the whole sub flooring area. The electrical underfloor heating also comes in a form of an electrical mat form, which is being laid on the sub flooring under your main floor surface working in a similar way as well, just with the wire elements within the matting, making it a cleaner install and less messy wiring process.
The electrical underfloor heating is often being controlled by a series of Thermostats which would be controlling the rooms temperature and these would normally be installed with one in each room so different temperatures can be set. This is known as a room zone and will be shown as this on all digital thermostats.
2) As used by the Romans, the Forced Air Underfloor Heating is the first and original form of heating under floor being recorded by man. The forced air under the floor heating would quickly spread throughout the early Roman Empire due to its excellent results for heating.
The way in which the forced air heating works is by passing the heated air through a series of under floor ducts which are also heated by air in a furnace and these ducts then heat the floor. The same as how a conventional heating system works, the temperature is being controlled by a thermostat.
3) The Hydronic Underfloor Heating is a process by which low pressure warm water is being pumped around concealed pipe loops installed under your flooring. Just as the other types of under floor heating, these are just as easy to install, whether it be on a new building refurbishment project.
Central heating systems are often used in order to utilize the hot water which is used in wet heating systems under the floor. A condensing boiler is the more cost effective solution for this as these are actually well fitted to power wet underfloor heating systems. Comparing to the radiators, the hydronic under floor heating systems are more comfortable because unlike a radiator and some other heating systems, they would evenly spread out a much lower temperature throughout the whole flooring area.
